On Thursday, April 22, the Guanghua School of Management, in collaboration with Stanford Center at Peking University, hosted a conversation between the 2020 Nobel Laureate Robert B. Wilson and Guanghua Dean Liu Qiao. The event, titled“The Road to World-changing Research” was streamed live on two bilingual platforms and engaged over1200 participants from 20 countries.
Happy Chinese New Year from the 1st Future Leaders Cohort!
Initiated by the inaugural cohort of the “Future Leaders” Program students, “Guanghua After Hours” is an English-speaking event series aimed at connecting Guanghua faculty members with students outside the classroom. The first edition, “Future Leaders Christmas Reunion”, organized by the class committee of the “Future Leaders” Program was held online on December 23rd,2020.
Showcasing their skill and creativity, the 26 international students in this inaugural cohort created a holiday greetings video screened at the Guanghua Students 2021 New Year Party on December 26th. In a year full of challenges for global highered, Guanghua has adapted its teaching methods and hosted bonding events to enrich students’remote learning experience. We are proud to count this group as part of the PKU and Guanghua family and are excited for a 2021 full of positive change and opportunity.
